Idris Elba 'splits from the mother of his son Naiyana Garth' after he was spotted enjoying a night out with supermodel Naomi Campbell
Luther star Idris Elba has reportedly split from his longtime girlfriend Naiyana Garth.
The actor, 43, decided to move out of the London home he shared with the make-up artist and his son Winston, The Sun has claimed.
He has now moved into a nearby apartment to remain close to his 22-month-old child.
A source tells the newspaper: 'They've kept it very quiet.... It's very sad that this has happened while Idris is experiencing the highest points of his professional career and they can't celebrate it with each other.'
The break up comes Elba is enjoying a stellar award season, picking up gongs at the Screen Actors Guild Awards and the Evening Standard Film Awards for his turn in Beast of No Nation.
Garth was noticeably absent from his side at the SGAs, where the star was accompanied by his 13-year-old daughter Isan, his child with ex-wife Dormowa Sherman.
Elba and Garth began dating in early 2013, with the pretty brunette soon falling pregnant.
News of their separation comes after the hunk was spotted enjoying a night out with supermodel Naomi Campbell.
The handsome pair seemed to have linked up while Stateside and were pictured leaving the prestigious 1 Oak nightclub at the same time.
The pair struck up a friendship in 2014 after he took part in Fashion For Relief charity event.
The buddies remain supportive of each other, with Naomi taking to Twitter to publicly congratulate him on his SAG Awards win, in the midst of the Oscars' race row.
Naomi Tweeted him just last week after his SAG awards win, and said: 'Congratulations @Idriselba you deserve your double WIN. @SAGawards.'
