But Jennifer Metcalfe seemed to be in particularly good spirits as she browsed the Liverpool One shopping centre with her long-term boyfriend Greg Lake on Sunday. Taking particular interest in the jewellery stores, the 32-year-old seemed keen to get her beau's opinion on the gems that had caught her eye.

Clad in a mustard coloured cropped jacket and a plain white top, the Hollyoaks actress cut a relaxed figure on the outing. Slipping her lean legs into a pair of skinny jeans, her pert posterior was hugged by the flattering denim cut, which she rolled up above the ankle, demonstrating her quirky fashion sense. Donning a pair of black ankle boots with tasseled detailing, the auburn haired beauty also carried a taupe coloured handbag in the crook of her arm.

Beaming as she browsed the shop with her beau, she walked hand in hand with Greg as she lead him towards the nearest jewellery store, where she modelled a range of accessories. Sweeping her glossy bouncy tresses to one side, the actress seemed particularly keen on a gold necklace, which would no doubt make a welcome Valentine's Day present. Seeming a bit confused by all the gems on offer but still keen to offer his opinion, Greg made a beeline for the counter.

But whilst the former Geordie Shore star was eager to look at diamond necklaces, it's unlikely he paid any attention to the diamond rings on offer, as Jennifer previously admitted that she couldn't see herself getting married for at least 'a few years'. Speaking to MailOnline about whether she could see herself tying the knot with her boyfriend of three years she revealed: 'We're just happy with how everything's going at the moment so we'll see in a few years but everything's good.' She added: 'I don't believe in The One... Why [believe in it?] I don't know... I've just never believed in The One... Maybe I'm just not that romantic.'
