On Wednesday morning, The Proposal star gushed over wife Blake to Entertainment Weekly, whom he described as just a friend when they first met on the set of The Green Lantern.
'We were buddies then. I remember it was funny because for about a year after Green Lantern had come and gone and all that stuff we were both single,' he said.
The duo ended up going on a double date, though each were with other people. Ryan described the date as 'awkward' for their other dates, 'because we were just like fireworks coming across,' he revealed.
The two eventually married in September of 2012 and had daughter James two years later.
